1. Committee on Heritage Architecture, Markers and Museums: :
- Make a survey of all historical monuments, shrines, museums, and markers in the Bicol cities, and in other places of Bicol where possible, list them in index form with indications as to their significance, location and ownership (whether private or government, if the latter, under what agency); when they were installed (or established, if they are shrines) and by whom; the sculptors, architects or dersigners; the individuals or entities looking after them at present);
- Conduct an inspection of such shirnes, monuments and markers for the purpose of finding out which of them are in need of repair and recommend to the proper authorities, such as the National Historical Institute, measures for their repair, reconstruction and proper maintenance.
- Prepare a map of the Bicol cities, showing the location of the historical shrines, markers and monuments for the use of visitors and tourists.
- Recommend to the NHI or the local government and pother agencies concerned the sites in the Bicol cities which should be marked with monuments, markers or shrines;
- Undertake activities for the cleaning an d upkeep of historical sites.
2. Committee on Historical Research and Publications:
- Make a list in index form of books, photographs, records, testimonies and other documents and relics on historical persons, events and places. Anything older than 25 years should be considered historical material;
- Explore ways and means for the establishment of a library or museum, in the city where historical materials can be kept and preserved and whose sustainability shall be beyond the arms of politics;
- Undertake the writing of local history, particularly the history of towns, biographies of its outstanding personalities, as a supplement in their town fiesta souvenir programs;
- Coordinate with local government or funding institutions on funds for the publication of regular bulletins or journals.
3. Committee on Cultural Events, Festivals and Historical Celebrations:
- Prepare a historical calendar of historical evemnts in the city and neighboring towns. The calendar should include the date of the establishment of the town or city, birth and death anniversaries of heroes, historic battles, succession of city or town mayors.
- Set commeratifvged activities in coordination with the local sanggunianto celebrate historical events i n the city of neighboring towns. These activities may include floral offerings, unveiling of markers or monuments, parades, exhibits, symposia, quizzes, convocations, lectures, dramatic re-enactment of historical events.
4. Committee on Musical, Visual and Performing Arts:
- Make a list in index form of musical compositions and visual works of local artists. Biographies of these local artists shall be subjects of research and shall be updated from time to time.
- Musical compositions shall be retrieved with their lyrics and musical scoring;
- Visual arts, if possible, shall be photographed and filed with updated information as to their whereabouts;
- Scripts, programs and musical pieces in Performing Arts shall also be filed.
5. Committee on Literary Arts and Linguistics:
- Identify books that may be translated in the Bikol language through a funding institution;
- Lobby for the proper use of the Bikol language in all trimedia – radio, print and television;
- Support the launching of Bikoliana journals or literature;
- Establish a foothold in local initiatives involving the promotion of the Bikol language;’
- Collect old publications, writings, books, papers about Bikol, belles-lettres in Spanish or in Bikol and current literary and research works of local authors.
6. Committee on Promotion and Marketing:
- Conduct radio and/or TV programs;
- Explore local government funds earmarked for cultural activities;
- Undertake memoranda of agreement with local goverment or non-government agencies on cultural concerns and projects;
- Undertake projects and activities designed to raise funds for the undertakings of the incorporation ;
- Set up and maintain a website;
- Produce documentary films or historical plays.
